Our 1999 Meritage is a blend of cabernet
sauvignon (25%) and cabernet franc (50%) from the O’Brien
Vineyard, and merlot (25%) from the De Cascabel Vineyard, two of
El Dorado County’s outstanding vineyards. This
limited-production, medium-bodied wine is well balanced, with
classic varietal characteristics and soft tannins. Savor the
essence of blueberry and the rich, ripe jammy fruit.
